Users are currently a lot of 503 server errors when they try to load pages at www.techsupportalert.com. Refreshing the page once or twice usually fixes the problems but I apologize for the inconvenience. We are working on the problem right now and will have it fixed as soon as we can. I'll post here when everything is working.
The problem is being caused by MySQL falling over and appears to be related to an update to our Drupal CMS software we installed yesterday but reversing the patch has not fixed the problem. It looks like our databases may have been corrupted in some way. Thankfully we have multiple backups of the database should we need to restore.

Could you recommend a good freeware program that prevents web servers from having problems? :) Good luck on resolving the issues

ReplyDeleteThere are no easy answers here as server problems can have hundreds if not thousands of different causes.
All you can do is use proven products in proven combinations and have the installed and maintained by people who know what they are doing.
